01Acceptance of Terms

Budget Flow ("the App") is developed and published by Enes Yurtsever, an independent developer based in Türkiye ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

02Description of Service

Budget Flow is a personal finance tracking application that allows you to:

  • Record income and expenses, including by voice
  • Organize transactions into categories and separate accounts
  • Set up recurring transactions and reminders
  • View summaries and insights about your spending
  • See your monthly totals in a home screen widget
  • Export your records as a CSV file

Budget Flow is a personal record-keeping tool. It is not intended to provide financial, investment, or tax advice, and it does not connect to your bank or move money.

03Your Responsibilities and Your Data

The App has no user accounts. When using it, you agree to:

  • Maintain the security of your device and app data
  • Use the App only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the App, except where applicable law expressly permits it
  • Review transactions created by voice input before saving them, since speech recognition may misinterpret amounts or categories

Your records are stored only on your device. We do not keep a copy and cannot recover them. If you delete the App, lose or reset your device, or switch devices without a backup, your records may be lost. Restoring a purchase restores access to the App, not your data. You are responsible for keeping backups, for example through your device backup or the CSV export.

04Subscription and Payments

Budget Flow is available with an auto-renewable subscription (yearly or monthly) or, where offered, a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the App before you buy and may vary by country.

  • Free trial: new subscribers may receive a free trial (currently 7 days on the yearly plan). Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged automatically.
  • Billing: payment is charged to your Apple Account or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase or, with a free trial, when the trial ends.
  • Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the same duration and price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If the price changes, you will be notified by Apple or Google as required by their rules.
  • Cancellation: you can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription. You keep access until the end of the current trial or paid period.
  • Refunds: payments are processed by Apple or Google, and refunds are handled by them under their policies.
  • After your subscription ends: access to the App's features requires an active subscription or lifetime purchase. Your records stay on your device, and you can still export them as a CSV file from the App.

05Intellectual Property and License

The App and all its content, features, and functionality, including text, graphics, logos, icons, and software, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, as permitted by the usage rules of the store you downloaded it from.

06Data and Privacy

Your use of Budget Flow is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information is processed and by whom.

07Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by law, Budget Flow is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • Calculations, summaries, or voice recognition results will always be accurate
  • Any errors in the App will be corrected

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer that cannot be waived or limited by contract.

08Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, resulting from:

  • Your use of or inability to use the App
  • Loss of data stored on your device
  • Any unauthorized access to your device or data
  • Any errors or omissions in the App
  • Any financial decisions made based on information shown in the App

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim arose. These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence.

09Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the App or your violation of these Terms.

10Changes to the App and Termination

We may update, change, or remove features of the App from time to time. If we decide to discontinue the App, we will try to give reasonable notice, and your records will remain on your device and exportable as a CSV file for as long as the installed App runs on your device.

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it and cancelling your subscription. Your license to use the App ends automatically if you materially breach these Terms.

11Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, the following also applies:

  • These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the App and its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the App.
  • If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
  • We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar laws.
  • In the event of any third-party claim that the App infringes intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for its investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge.
  • You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the App.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Where these Terms do not address a matter, Apple's Standard License Agreement applies.

12Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring claims in the courts or consumer authorities available to you there.
